The Updates are coming...

To: Constant (or not so constant) Reader

Subject: The Updates are coming...

Dear Constant Reader,

My blog, which started in Versailles, France on Friday, 29th of May, 2009, has undergone some major changes, experiences, and useless jabber. 'Through the Fire and Rain', as they sometimes say, this blog has stayed strong. And for that, I am most proud.

I really wish I could say right now that my blog will never fall into another one of those dry spots, but I really can't. With the amount of Coursework/Homework I am being faced with right now, it would be literally impossible to keep a good pace on posting.

Though this is the hard truth (believe it or not, blah blah blah), I will still try and make time for it in my spare moments. So, it is with this final declaration, that I will re-introduce 'Empty-Handed' (which stopped for awhile, but something I will start up again).

However, I will be making some major changes to it, which I will enclose in this letter. Rest assured that you won't be empty-handed next time you come to my blog (just try to make your trips over here spaced out at a little :):

Updates -

Frequent Short-Stories - Over the next few months, I will be installing a short-story monthly (sometimes I may add two short-stories in a month). This is just for diversity and for diversity alone.

Frequent Articles - Like some you have already seen, I will be posting more and more articles on whatever interests me at the time. It may be Writing, Singing, School, or Facebook, who knows? All I'm saying is that they will be around a lot so keep your eyes posted.

NITA Group on Facebook - This is an older update but an update nonetheless. If you have facebook, search for 'Nine in the Afternoon Blog' and it should come up. Please join the group and through facebook, I will be sending regular links, messages, etc for you to pick up on whenever needed.

Recents - This is a very general update, but basically it just means that I'll be updating you on the updates in my life; especially school. This is mainly for people I know but I will be including funny things in my 'Recents' and whatnot.

Anything Else - This is perhaps the most broad update. It includes all the random extras I will put into the blog (for instance Three Amazing..., Top 10 Musique, etc). I may be posting quizzes, jokes, small random posts, etc regularly when I have the time so those are very public indeed. :)

Finally...

Nothing Lasts Forever - This is the general title for Empty-Handed. EH falls under Nothing Lasts Forever. Basically, Nothing Lasts Forever is going to be the title for my Story Series (it's like a TV series) where each Season will be about different situations/people/etc. Season 1 is called, as you all know, Empty-Handed. This will go on for some time more and then it will end. This will herald a new Season (2) which is going to be following the paths of three very different people and how their lives intertwine for a very special reason.

The Next Installment of Empty-Handed will be in before the 3rd of November

That's all for now. Another one of these 'letters' might pop up randomly here and there telling you all about an update concerning the blog extra. Thank you all for reading,

Gabriel - Owner/Designer/Writer/Creator of NITA

In Honor of SVGC!

SVGC (Southern Valley Golf Club) is a club started by Gabriel Milon, Katie Harding, Becky White, and Rhianna Harding. It all started one breezy evening when we decided to walk somewhere. We eventually ended up in a grassy area with big beautiful trees and bushes (not to mention a cute little pathway). After going around and acting like freak (taking pictures all the way), we took to taking off this red tape that was knotted around the trees. I tied it around my head and the rest did the same. Little did we know, that this was the beginning of something great (Yeah, great as in vandalizing community property). We realized that we were in Southern Valley Golf Club and we decided to form a club underneath that name. It was... Glorious.
Here are some pictures of that great day.
